Vacuum Hybrid System supplied for Petrobras |
At the end of the last year, we commemorate the sales of a big system for the Petrochemical Complex of Rio De Janeiro (Comperj), a Petrobra's project.
The supplied equipment, is a complete vacuum system for a crude tower distillation composed by steam ejectors, condensers, liquid ring vacuum pump, liquid ring compressor, seal water pumps of the vacuum pump and compressor, sour to water pump, slop oil pump, heat exchangers and condensed collecting vase.

The great complexity of the system involved all the facilty and mobilized diverse departments. Great part of the Nash Brazil team saw the exit of the equipments, that had been dispatched in the first quarter of July.

“ What is the Comperj?
The Petrochemical complex called Comperj is a Petrobras project that will transform the oil in petrochemical products. And what are petrochemical products? Are plastic resins used for example to produce toys, vehicle spare parts, packing and others.
The new facility will feature a refining and first-generation unit (basic petrochemical unit [BPU]) that will produce the basic petrochemicals ethane, propane, benzene, paraxylene, and butadiene. A set of second-generation units called associated petrochemical units (APUs) will transform the basic products into the following petrochemical products: styrene, ethylene glycol, polyethylene, polypropylene, and PTA/PET. A third component of the project is a utilities plant that will provide the entire complex with water, steam, and electrical energy.”
